When to use this: the routine label run — new stock on shelves, price changes, shelf tags.
Steps
-
Labels → Print Labels. You land on "What do you want to print?" — this screen always starts from a source, it doesn't let you build a list from scratch:
- Batch labels from a GRN — takes you to Purchases to pick the goods receipt (→ LBL-04 covers this path).
- Product labels — takes you to Products; open a product and use its Print label action to send it here.
-
Review the list and set quantities — pick a quantity mode: Same for all (one fixed count for every row), Per received unit (uses the GRN's received quantity), or Per row (type a number per line). Pick your template if you haven't already.
-
Continue — preview the sheet, labels laid out exactly as they'll print.
-
Print / Save PDF.
⚠ Printer setup (once per machine — barcodes depend on it)
In the browser print dialog: scale 100% (never "fit to page"), margins None, correct paper size. A scaled barcode may look fine and still not scan.
Common problems
- Barcodes won't scan — 9 times out of 10 it's print scaling; reprint at 100%.
- Misaligned on the sheet — template dimensions vs stationery (→ LBL-02).
