Step-by-Step Billing for Scheduled Drugs
1. Schedule H Medicines
When you add a Schedule H item, a Prescription Required caution badge appears on the line. Verify the customer's doctor prescription and proceed to billing as normal.
2. Schedule H1 Medicines (H1 Register Form)
When you add a Schedule H1 item to a bill, the H1 Register Window pops up automatically.
You must fill in the mandatory compliance fields:
- Patient Name & Address
- Prescribing Doctor Name & Registration Number
- Prescription Date
Note: You cannot finalize the bill until the H1 details are completed.
3. Automatic Statutory Register Entry
Once you finalize the bill (F10), BitMed records the transaction details in the digital Schedule H1 Register. Print and sign the register where required, and confirm with your state FDA before discontinuing any physical register or signed printout.
