The Drug Register (Schedule H1 / H / X)

On this page

Name change: this report used to be called the H1 Register. It is now called Drug Register in the app's menu, because it now covers Schedule H1, H, and X medicines together, with a filter to view just one of them.

When to use this: the drug inspector asks for it, or your monthly compliance check. The register fills itself in from your sales (→ BILL-08) — this page is about reading and exporting it.

Steps

Keep Schedule H1 records for at least three years, and follow any longer retention or physical-record requirement imposed by your state FDA.

  1. Open Reports → Drug Register. Click Reports in the left menu, then click Drug Register from the list (it's the first report in the list). This is also the report you land on if you just click Reports without picking a name.

  2. Pick what to see.

    • Classification dropdown (top left): choose All, H1, H, or X to show only that schedule.
    • From / To date buttons (top right): pick the period.
    • Search box (below, next to Classification): type a drug name, bill number, patient name, batch number, or doctor name to find a row fast.
  3. Read the table. Every row shows: S.No, Class (H1/H/X), Source, Date, Bill #, Drug Name, Batch, Expiry, Qty, Patient Name, Patient Address, Doctor Name, Doctor Address, Doctor Reg#, Manufacturer, and Pharmacist.

  4. Spot-check. Every H1, H, or X sale in the period should be here, including bills made offline (they appear once the device syncs).

  5. Export for the inspector. Above the table, on the right, use Export CSV, Export Excel, or Export PDF. Every page of results is included in the export, not just the page on screen.

Common problems

  • An entry looks incomplete — the sale went through, but with fewer details than you'd want next time. Remind the counter staff to fill in the H1 form fields fully at billing time.
  • Missing a known sale — check that the billing device has synced (→ OFF-04).
  • The screen shows an error instead of the table — click Retry. If it keeps failing and says you don't have access, you may be viewing the wrong store; switch stores and try again.
